WTF is up with Bequette?

He was one of my favorite Razorbacks.  All the Bequettes were.

Then he went nutso and started espousing crazy ass political shit and ran for Senate. Beaten like a drum. Rightfully so.

Now, he's spouting off about Gronkowski.  I didn't realize they were at the Patriots at the same time.

Not sure what there was to gain from telling that story.  But, Jake as a politician is everything wrong with the system.  He had done nothing to warrant receiving votes.

We thank him for his service, but he appeared in 8 games his entire NFL career. Also hard to be a lawyer when you haven't even finished law school.

Again, he has done nothing that would make him qualified to run a small business much less the government.  It isn't about comparing his stats with those that are currently elected.  Most of them are not qualified either.

Being former military isn't any more of a qualifier than being a bartender.  Being a lawyer who has never practiced is definitely not a qualifier.  Having played in the NFL, I'm going to need to see his Wonderlic scores before I can assess that qualification.

Don't agree with the part in red.  Also, not at all taking up for him, but your last point actually gives it some credibility.  If there was nothing to gain, why lie about it?
