'69 Ark vs aTm from Warmachine

Our friend Warmachine has posted highlights from the 1969 Arkansas vs Texass A&M game.

I was a Freshman that year, and this game was one of the few we had at Razorback Stadium that year.  Half of our SWC home games were at War Memorial, of course.

Watch our FB, number 34 Bruce Maxwell.  Number 34 won several All SWC awards, and I think was the pick for best FB of the '60's on our all-time teams.  At least on some versions.  If you look at his stats, he didn't have that much rushing or receiving (272-1260-4.6; 31-298-9.6), so what's the deal?

Watch him.  On the footage available for his years (1966, 1968, 1969) the man is the fiercest blocker I have ever seen in a Razorback uniform.  He gets his man EVERY time, and knocks the shit out of him EVERY time.  Jeez, what a player.  The QB and RB with him in the backfield benefited greatly, I am here to tell you.
