I imagine if KY granted him permission to look around the whole buyout thing would go away. In lieu of no Muss sure I'd take a flyer on Cal. I don't overly like him but I agree he's going to have you in the hunt every year and feature some of the very best talent.

It is uncanny watching other major programs have "well coached" teams when I've been told all season that's unpossible now with NIL/portals.

Cal is a greasy con man. He screwed Memphis over and they still hate him over here. Then, he crawls to Kentucky to eat at the big boys table, where he does well for a short while and then starts shitting the bed. Yeah, he gets talent, but not because of him. It is because of the name of the school...like Duke or North Carolina.

I saw the Kansas-Samford block this morning. That was as clean as clean can be.

The guy that made the call had the worst angle too. They need to be able to huddle and have one tell the other "I saw that clearly, and it was clean".  That should have been an easy fix.

I agree that it was a clean block.  But Samford clearly got away with a walk when that player went from the top of the key right down the middle for the slam with 38 seconds left.

Other than Kentucky going down and the Samford debacle, the tourney has been pretty "meh" so far.
