The SiriusXM broadcast earlier said there was one yesterday.  I remember it...Arizona hit it, and it was such a wall scraper that the announcers initially called it a catch.

To be fair, I don't think the 6 teams that have played this far are overly reliant on the long ball (especially teams like Louisville and Murray State), but the park has been playing larger in the first round.

LSU, us, and OSU are the only 3 teams with over 100 homers. The rest are in the 60s and 70s.

That's what bothered me the most about Roo's outing last night. LSU isnt really a powerful lineup. Especially in that park. Pitcher's should be pitching to contact. Root was not.

Arizona has absolutely imploded in the 8th.

Up 3-2 and allows 6 runs on 3 errors, a couple of bloops, and played 9U defense.

Louisville now up 8-3 headed to the 9th.

What Arizona has done is worse than anything we could come up with.  We just let one or two really REALLY bad things happen to us.  Arizona committed suicide by a thousand paper cuts.

Same for the shortstop. He made the first error and his body language was awful ever since.

I guess the ESPN box score is not official but it shows all these runs as earned. They certainly were not. I'd say maybe 3 of the 6.


EDIT: Now it's changed. They are scoring 4 unearned. That's insane.
