I hope our pitchers bring their attitude from the Supers
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

Wow, for some reason I thought he'd take an NIL deal somewhere.

For sure. After watching LSU against UALR and now West Virginia, they definitely have their own weak spots. Their pitching has been gettable.

Oregon State and UCLA are both looking very stout but it's all tough at this stage.

We should be walking in tall and full of confidence. UCLA is the only other 5-0 team.

EDIT: Coastal Carolina is also 5-0.

West Virginia missing opportunities the last couple innings.

Edit: and they just Arkansas triangulated a pop up in short right-center.

I'm hoping we exorcized that demon in game 1 vs TN, albeit on the opposite side of the field.

1. It needs to happen in OKC to be exorcised.
B. We let another one drop yesterday, thereby cancelling the previous attempt.

He isn't their "home" broadcast guy. He does do a lot of the ESPN games for LSU and is definitely biased for them, but he isn't their guy. He is too busy doing O's games too to be a home broadcast guy.

That's our problem, we have been trying to do it in Omaha.  We would crush in Devon Park in OKC.

Thanks for the clarificatiosn.  I've watched a dozen or so LSU games this year and he has been on the broadcast every time.  I assumed he does them all.

It seems like I'm in the minority on here (not just with you), but I enjoy listening to him. I'm probably biased because of his work with the O's, but I like the way he explains things.

He does the LSU streaming broadcast on SEC+/ESPN+ (similar to Troy Eklund here) when he's not otherwise occupied with a national game or the O's.  Ironically I thought he was much less of a homer when he did our Friday and Sunday games with them than he was in the regional last week.  He was much more fair and seemingly much less of a cheerleader when he wasn't supposed to be a neutral party.

I'm with you in that I like Ben on the broadcasts.  I just don't think he should be doing nationally televised games involving LSU.

Along those lines, how did Chris Burke do in the booth for our series this weekend?  He's another one I like, but can't recall listening to him on a Tennessee broadcast.

I definetly don't dislike listening to him.  He does try to be very complementary of the other team which helps balance out the fact that he definetly is an LSU fan.

My favorite guy is KP.  I could listen to him all day long.

Burke was fine.  One thing having an alumni of a team on there is they are very well in tune with their team.  He pointed out the big difference this year between last year's UT team is defense and he's spot on.  He wasn't too homerish, nor was Ben Mac for LSU.  I would rather listen to a homer that knows baseball than someone that never played and/or doesn't know the game.

I'll say this as far as homers in the booth.  I prefer someone like McDonald who tries to be objective but doesn't go over the top to hide his loyalties to the Jimmy Dykes of the world who overcompensate and end up shitting on their alma mater to prove a point.

A game in Chickasaw Bricktown park would be awesome though.

I'm sure it will be Anderson, the next projected top 10 draft prospect we will face after facing Doyle.
