The patterns of our past Final Four teams show that the best composition is three national-level players, with one a big star, and a team of good role players who know their role.

70s - the Triplets with star Moncrief; role players like Schall and Counce

Early 90s - Day, Mayberry, and Oliver Miller, with Day being the biggest star.

Mid 90s - Beck, Scottie, and Corliss, obviously Corliss was the straw the stirred the drink. An amazing amount of role players, which is why we won it all then 2nd.

Do we have three this year? Fland, Thiero, and _______. Should be Davis but he has not been, so far. Richmond has the potential to be a Lenzie Howell or Butch Morris type role player. Z = Dwight Stewart?

I still like the mix of players on this team...we have three or four guys who can really guard the ball and play with effort...If Aidoo can get healthy, we could be tough defensively with him as a rim protector...Davis and DJ are definitely team guys..as is thiero....rhey are all willing passers...need DJ AND DAVIS to be a little more aggressive off the bounce...


The conference is loaded so it'll be huge for us to take advantage of the lsu and missouri road games early...i think 10-8 11-7 is a great season.  if we can pick off a couple of road wins maybe a little better...but that also means beating bama or auburn at home.  That'll be really tough

Aidoo and Brazile will make it hard to get a shot off when  they get some time together.

Boogie is a superstar. He's the kind that can take you to championship.

He looked a lot better than this at Tennessee.  It almost has to be injury related.

Not saying much but he was dominant against us last year. He was good enough to make 1st team all SEC. Time will tell.
