I'm assuming we are firmly in the middle of at-large zone.

Also this is all very subject to change since conference hasn't started for many

The SEC could very well get 13 schools in depending on how much parity there ends up being

You're looking for a clear indicator that it's WAY too early to start projecting the field.

But since it matters to Lunardi, it looks like Auburn is gonna get that convincing win. They're ahead by 28 at halftime in Columbus.

Aggie with a 6 point lead at Purdue with 2 minutes and change.

I think Auburn may be pretty good.

Cal said on the UCA post game radio we will be playing in Chicago next thanksgiving against another big name.

I would guess Kansas or Duke based on his description. Maybe UConn.
The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.

Maybe it's Kentucky, unless there is some rule that a conference game can't be scheduled that early.

Not Kentucky. They will be our home game next year. Even if a conference game could be played that early, we're not playing it in Chicago.

I'm going to guess Kansas but it could also be any number of "blue/red bloods" such as Louisville, Duke, Gonzaga...Cal has always been big on getting good contests.

supposedly it's duke, part of the sec/acc challenge. that's what 'insiders' are saying.

So we would be sacrificing a home game but it puts us on CBS on Thanksgiving again.

So far the neutral side crowds have been way better than BWA crowds.

Well,

Apparently Chuck said this morning that the next three months will be the best basketball we've ever seen in Bud Walton history.

Just an absolute slap in the face to the '94 and '95 teams. They lost one game in that building in two years.

vegashog

if he meant that because of the opposition we will face, then right now that looks to be true.

i kinda doubt that he was slighting any arkansas team.

Quote from: Show-Me Hog on Dec 16, 2024, 07:34 AMWell,
It was a sold out crowd in LR to watch us play Central Arkansas this weekend. The BWA crowds have been horrendous all year. I know the competition hasn't been fantastic, but the attendance looks like what we had with Pelphrey.

Little Rock gets one game a year. When we play real teams in Fayetteville it will be close to full or full.

The schedule seems a little odd this year.

We don't play again until next Saturday the 21st.  After that we get an extended break for Christmas before playing again on Monday 12/30.

In the past they have usually taken a longer break for finals, but those ended last Friday.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.
