Yeah, we're beyond the whole "let the veteran hit out of a slump" approach.

He's an automatic out and looks absolutely lost at the plate, and they've tried everything with him from resting him midweek and to moving him all over the batting order. Ironically, I think his glove is what's keeping him in the lineup.

I think our OF needs to be some combo of Souza, Edmunson, Holt and Lovich. Wilmsmeyer is nothing more than a late game situational defensive sub.

It really might be time to either re-evaluate our recruitment of players and their hitting or the hitting coach.  Seems to be our main weakness every year and mostly what keeps us from winning it all.

Aloy definitely does this quite a bit, and it reminds me a lot of how Slavens used to flare his head. Diggs' swing is probably the worst on the team right now.

I love DVH, but unfortunately I think we're in the stubbornness phase of his tenure. Case in point - Diggs should sit, Holt should never sit again, and they should hide Wilmsmeyer's bat bag from now on.
