I like Hasz, but his conditioning looks...off.

He always looks like he's about to die during games when he has to run longer than 5 yards.

Well, this is a terrible observation. That stadium was full until the last of the 4th qtr.

Oh, so you weren't there. What you saw on TV...got it.

I was there and the sitting on the East side of the stadium and the West side was full. North End Zone seats are sold out, but most of those people sit inside because those seats roast in the sun the whole game for 3:00 kick offs. South EZ was full. Upper Deck on West side, full.

East side upper deck that was mostly empty was the student section. There were easily 70,000+ there, probably not the 75,000+ that was reported though.

8th largest crowd ever.  lol.  Sure.  By the way, the TV broadcast is unbiased in what the truth really is.

These kee-ids will have hurt feelings if we let them meet better players and they realize how far off they really are from an NFL opportunity.

Had to check and, yep, Sowders is still our S&C guy.  We were unconditioned last season too.  We ain't getting no Full Metal Fridays, that's for sure.

Non-Game-Goers always show their hand when they point out the End Zone club areas being "empty".  If it is hot or cold, those people have indoor areas they hang out in to get out of the elements.

Watching Pittman's press conference and other take-aways...

1. Multiple players on defense wore green jerseys in practice last week (non contact) and it slowed the defense down, not physical and we came out not playing physical. 

2. DC's wife had a baby wasn't around as much last week. But we're not making excuses

3. QB was utter trash (ok he didn't say that), thinks maybe he was pressing being his first time playing in RRS.

4. Kicker hit the ball better and generally in the right direction.

5. Our center has a boo boo on his high ankle and this might fuck us the entire season

6. Biddy thinks Clark is out for a while...dude is the brains on the defense.

7. Defense doesn't pressure anybody

8. We don't throw to the TE

9. Russell "has a package"

10. We got exposed bigly by OK lite and UAB...linebackers aren't good covering the flats and over the middle.

Sowders did a shitty job last season too, packing weight onto players like Rocket and Dominique Johnson and killing their burst. Remember the bullshit about Rocket being "faster than ever"? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Our defense wore down, receivers had/have no speed and couldn't get separation, and we couldn't get a push on the offensive line whatsoever against the likes of Western Carolina and Kent State.

I was unimpressed before last season when I saw the videos of him and the team and he was preaching peace, love, and unity. I don't want an S&C Coach who's a church camp counselor, I want one who has players begging for their mommas after a grueling workout.

We haven't had a strength and conditioning program worth a shit since Jason Veltkamp was here with Petrino and we were one of the fastest teams in the SEC.

Veltkamp wasn't good. All those skill guys were fast before they got here. Wingo and Hamilton were track guys. We were horrendously slow on D.
