We have now seen what a Sam team looks like with two weeks to prepare. It wasn't pretty.

Aside from a couple big plays our defense played great most of the game against what will likely go down as one of the worst offenses in the SEC. We should have beaten them and we did. One of our biggest issues for us is our two "winnable" SEC games are both on the road. We need to win one or two we weren't expected to win.

I think a lot of our woes are still things that can be cleaned up...the QB has to speed up his clock in his head. There are times he needs to stay in the pocket by being a bit more crafty and see the field. He's relying way too much on his legs and we need that too in order to win games but he's also got to be smart with the football and today he was getting guys killed not understanding the defense. I don't thin the guy can read defenses. I think Auburn saw some shit on tape and were ready to light up our guys.

Also once again want to note that our long snapper made two solo tackles and the kickeroffer/punter dude made one or two. Both guys were the hardest running guys going down the field. That shit should show up on tape and the coaches need to light into some asses.

Defense played balls out and game planned well. Outside of the 4th and 4 TD they largely held Auburn in check.

The Hogs winning enough games to get BP a second year with the team is what's at stake.  The difference between year 1 and 2 was a wide chasm even though the W/L might not look like it.  It wasn't just 15.  Everything on offense was better.
