Just say you don't know football, troll. You argued with everyone who told you KJ's accuracy was trash.

I can see why Petrino thought of Green as an intriguing player worth pursuing. Also I think maybe they were balancing a situation of trying to hold the two young QBs on the roster giving them a "shot" while bringing in a guy that's had some career starts under his belt. Also I don't think the transfer crop was all that great. I'm sure they'll be a number of examples of where I'm wrong.

Out of that list a think Grayson McCall could have been an interesting choice to take a run at. We weren't competing for a guy like Cam Ward who's evidently getting nearly 2 million in NIL.

Petrino is chasing that next Lamar Jackson when he should probably looking for the Brandon Allen's of the world.

Yeah, I'm sure you know football  ::)

Bobby handpicked Green. Get over it. Your savior is beyond washed.

How many false starts did Petrino commit again? Turnovers?

But KJ was all world huh, clown.

Just say you don't know football.

I think Bobby has been chasing Lamar Jackson since he left for the NFL. It cost him his job at UL chasing that rainbow.

Green is his next attempt at replicating LJ and it's not happening here either.

Link to where I ever said he was all world? Just another lie from you.

Petrino is beyond washed. Briles offense was better than this shit.

Sadly, I'm afraid you have a real point here.  I get the appeal of Green.  He has the physical tools to be great and very difficult to stop.  Sadly, he just doesn't have the mind for it.  I'm afraid Petrino won't give up that ghost, though.

Now you're really opening up; You miss the Briles and KJ days. What a clown.

Remember how mad you'd get, and how you'd argue with people who criticized your boy KJ for his trash accuracy.  You rode with KJ till the end.

Football guru indeed!!

Not just football. I've forgotten more about any of the big three sports than you'll know in ten lifetimes.

Even this year, Kj has a higher rating than Petrino's handpicked QB. Wake me up when Green has a season that approaches anywhere near KJ's 2021 or 2022 lol. I don't miss anything. Just stating a fact that the offense was significantly better then.

Defending KJ STILL when he threw 2 picks against that shitty Colorado D.  Shameful.

Stop. Just say you don't know ball.

I've been aggravated at the play calling what little I've watched. We need to run more on first and second downI know he's had plays dialed up that would have worked and Green is either running for his life or just can't execute the throw. He's great at the longer developing routes where someone breaks open, but can't throw for shit on quick slants or find the hot receiver. The book will be to put a spy on him and let our line force him to flush. That guy they had on him yesterday was fast as hell.

I'd try Singleton and do it against Tennessee. He certainly considers himself ready if reading some of the mom's quotes from last year is any indication. If he's not the future, try that freshman next. They both showed against UAPB that they can at least throw the slant and out routes. I was worried about Green not completing very many of those passes. Those are the only passes that will make the spy have to play pass and I don't think he can throw them.

I can see why Green was benched at times, while at Boise State. He'll dazzle you with the spectacular play but consistently frustrate you with the routine play. He doesn't process fast enough for this level. Of course our soft ass oline isn't helping matters.

Bottom line, averaging 2 turnovers a game is going to lead to a lot of wins, especially when we're already at a talent disadvantage.

BleedinRed

We are definitely not at a talent disadvantage.  We should be 5-0 based on the talent.

This is a true statement.

When Pittman chose to punt I knew the game and any support for him I had were both gone.

It was not the right call and showed once again he has no feel for the game.

A&M's offense had found their groove and them scoring again was a certainty.

their offense had hit a big pass where we missed a tackle and a 10 yard drive as a result of the fumble. not sure i'd say their offense was clicking before their last drive.

I'm not sure what QB would succeed in our offense.  They had men in our backfield every single play in the first half it seemed.  If Green isn't running for his life 1 second after the snap a little more often, he might not be too bad.

Just blitz us.  We don't pick it up, ever.  I felt like we must have been missing a player on offense, because we were getting dominated at the LOS.
