Personally. I think he's too prideful to resign.

You mean greedy.

I was going to say, I think money came into the mix.

If he did, I would have said "You're fired! Now get the hell out."
Well, shit...

No, I'm just going back to what he said when he was hired.

pittman lost the big boosters today. he'll limp to 6-6 and one way or another he'll be gone.

Nah.  I don't think we get rid of him at 6-6.

What I'm more mad about is that he's such a chickenshit bitch that he'll give up on tough games against "better programs" in favor of extra preparation time for "winnable" games against Mississippi State and Louisiana Tech.  Such a loser mentality.  We're the team that occasionally gets a big win because one of those "better programs" always overlooks us.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

The only hope I have is that some of the east Arkansas boosters, some of whom give significant amounts, might not like the egg on their faces from watching what has been a lesser program for most of their lives come in and treat us like UAPB at home.  All those guys have friends who are Ole Miss boosters who will give them shit nonstop until we beat them again.  Hopefully those guys are fed up enough to force a change.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

For the love of JFB, please let this happen.

It's a great point because of the proximity and our (now distant) history of OWNING them in football.

this is the type of game the money guys might say 'fuck it, pay him'. it was that bad.

I hope y'all are right, but I haven't seen anything from this program that gives me any hope.  For shit's sake, how many of our money people supported Jeff Long's integrity crusade when he fired The Petrion in the first place?

I have no faith that we will do what it takes to win in football at this point. Hiring a career oline coach with no head coaching experience to run an SEC program was an insane thing to do in the first place.

We have been a retarded football program for a while.  You know how most teams have a song or some kind of cheer or something on the videya board to pump up the fans at the start of the 4th QTR?  We do, as well.

Ours is retardo-fuckbag Houston Nutt giving his stupid-ass "there ain't but ONE razorback!" extended version pep talk over a montage of a few good moments in football history.  It's cringeworthy, and I can't believe it actually exists.

The kind of people in our athletic department are the stupid motherfuckers who would put together and play something like that at every football game.
I'm on smoko, so leave me alone.

It was a horrible and lazy decision.

I was certainly wrong about Lane. I thought he'd either self destruct or take a bigger job by now. Colbeertits gonna swing by Popeyes for a 12 piece, jam out to Seals & Croft, try not to get double-crossed by a wet fart, and let the beer wash away another embarrassing loss.

It was fitting that they played this late in the game when we were getting curb stomped.

Sam knew he was beat before the game. He was already making excuses on sec network about not having much money to buy players.

The Arkansas media and administration have worked tirelessly over the last 2 decades to assure us that we're a bottom feeder program who deserves the scraps we're given, and not to ever expect better. I don't buy Yurachek's and the media's bullshit about how "nobody wanted this job."

Yeah, maybe guys like Matt Campbell didn't want to leave their P5 jobs for what has become a career killing program, but I don't buy for one second that we couldn't have gotten a solid G5 or a great FCS coach.

Kansas State hired Klieman from NDSU where he won a bunch of championships. He'll probably have them in the playoff this year.

Ohio State hired Tressel from Youngstown State where he won a bunch of I-AA championships.

IU hired Cignetti from James Madison. The guy had won a bunch at the D-II and FCS level.

Washington hired DeBoer after he'd won a bunch at Sioux Falls.

The point is that winners win. Good football coaches are good football coaches regardless of level. If Yurachek had put in even the slightest amount of effort and done some due diligence maybe we could've hired someone a winner from the FCS, but he couldn't be bothered to do that because he was too preoccupied with making a splash.

Hiring Sam is one thing

Letting this shit continue in year 5 is another.

No other SEC program except Vandy would accept it. Our department apparently does.

Lane sent a message to HY like Jimmy Johnson did to Broyles.
