Everyone knows where it is going.  It would be a mercy to everyone and everyone would be relieved, including Sam, if they pulled the plug tomorrow.  We probably won't and being that we're Arkansas, Sam might be here next year.

This is the thing about our program that pissed me off the most.

It's not just that we accept mediocrity. It's that we are docile and absolutely refuse to move on from coaches despite all evidence that it's not going to work out, until a point at which the program implodes and it's too late. 

- We allowed moved on from Ford a year too late.
- We allowed Nutt to squeeze a literal decade out of us.
- Everyone knew Bert was in over his head and that 2017 would be a shitshow, but he got that 5th year anyway. And it was a shitshow.
- It was obvious Morris had zero fucking clue how to run a P5 football program, but we just couldn't pull the trigger until we absolutely had to after the worst loss in program history.
- It was painfully obvious that Pittman was completely in over his head and checked out, yet he inexplicably got year 5 after 2 straight years of reduced win totals.

As someone said, we're always reactive and never proactive.

I cringed when I heard it. I understand he was trying to be a good ole' boy and be funny- but the timing was terrible.

Plus I think most of us are past of the good ole' boy shitick and funny little sayings.
