I'm not going to be mad at an out in the Sweet 16 until it becomes our official ceiling.

They made 6 more FGs on 7 fewer attempts.  Big difference was their 5-8 to our 5-23 from 3-range.  We forced a lot of threes even after it was obvious we weren't shooting well, and that got worse late.  They shot 13 more FT's than us and made 9 more, not awful. 

We hung with them on rebouds, 28-30.  Beat them on steals, 9-3, and blocks, 5-3.  They beat us in points-in-paint, 50-60, which is better than I realized.

We had 26 fouls to their 16, and at one point in the second half we had 10+ to their 2 before the refs started trying to even that up when the game was out of reach.  We had 1 technical and 2 flagrants, with 1 ejected.

The officiating was bad enough to mess up how we play.  That's all it takes, but it still wasn't what lost us this game.  There's a reason Arizona is as highly-regarded as they are, though, and they proved it.  They looked like a team that expected to go the championship, and we looked like a team that knew it was the underdog.

Put some respect on Pringle's name though.  Didn't put much on the stat sheet but he played tough.

And I'll say again we earned 90% of our fouls in the second half by being stupid, lazy and/or vindictive.

Pringle's T was very much deserved, the flagrant 2 was a bad call. But I understand the way the rule is written why they called it.

The first half? Maybe you have a point.
