the last thing arkansas needs to be doing right now is asking donors to dump huge amounts of money into facilities. the $25 million we raised goes directly to football nil. throw in the $14.5 from revenue sharing and it's not bad, especially considering the inexplicable slow start the athletic department took.

and you miss the point - all these schools say they dont' have money yet they are spending millions upon millions despite being "poor". Remember no one was going to have money to rev share and/or nil. waa waa.

College Athletics has had a spending problem from day 1 and it's only gotten worse. I.e. Arkansas Tennis. or

It's amazing the $$$ that gets spent and the justification for it. yet what is the % of return on investment??

Arkansas is not alone in this but money alone isn't the solution (I.e. Texas A&M) - a program still needs coaching, talent evaluation, and leadership to go with money.

It appears the football program has finally got a leader in charge after the worst 8 year stretch in program history ( hope silverfield wins every fricking game), time to get a leader in charge of the athletic program as well.
