After 2 weeks I'm not sure there is a team that looks unbeatable. Seems to be more parity early on than years past.

And I think the very next play he got his bell rung.

Jayden Johnson took him out making a play.   Friendly fire.

I agree on it being good stuff. I thought for a few of those big runs that line did very little and it was all Jackson. In fact that's partly true...OK Lite had horrendous LB play in the first half and they got that shit corrected. There were a few of those runs like the pin and pulls where the line did great at hitting their assignments so I believe what we're really talking about is getting more consistency.

What I'm wondering now is why didn't we try some Run Right At Em plays to off-set all the cut-back shit we were running that they were jumping on but then again I'm not a world class offensive coordinator.

I remember Pittman saying he wasn't overly happy with the OTs play in the game and I can see why now.

That was excellent. He's a natural in front of the camera. And his breakdowns are Petrino-esque in the way he explains it. I wonder why that is.

I think he is very good. I've never seen one of his. A lot of these things lose me after a minute.

I wonder where DJ learned so much about football?

I remember we had a Olineman during the Petrino era, that was going through an interview with the Panthers, at the combine. They asked him to draw up a play and they liked it so much, that they added it to their playbook.

I watched every minute of that and didn't intend to. DJ gives me hope. I just don't know if the players have the mental capacity to do what's necessary though.

Going through those offensive plays it sounded like he was going to say "Oh my god, I'm in the big game. Everybody's watching. Here comes blitz, piss down my leg. Not able to maintain my block. Bam. Can't handle the D...unlike my momma."

DJ is excellent.  I saw a lot of miscues and missed assignments, and he caught so many more details than I did watching it live.  Someone has been recruiting some not-smart offensive linemen, and our #1 RB apparently hasn't figured out the whole offense yet.

Taylen probably has a shock collar on in practice now with a 3-second timer.
"That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar the first time his parents asked him to babysit."

For $7 mil I'll put a webcam in front of my shitter so I can answer fan questions while I drop the Longhorns off in College Station.

He did play his freshman year under a self-certified football genius who could call offensive plays better than Bill Parcells or Jimmy Johnson.

Evidently, not from his father.  :this_is_woopig:

It's good that DJ has YouTube to offer his opinions on outside of the news caster gig.

He's not shitting on the kids just pointing out some fairly correctible things but Big 12 dudes running right fuckin by our OTs does not really bode well.

That's probably more mental than physical but as they say fatigue makes cowards of us all.

If healthy I think the line will come together but we need the skill guys getting on the same page regarding staying focused.

We are the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The only similar loss I remember from one of "my" teams was the Steelers loss to the Oakland Raiders sometime during the Ben Roethlisberger era. The Steelers had like 475 yards of offense, to the Raiders 120. Five turnovers and a punt block let the Raiders get the victory.
