So explain that to me.  Why not take a timeout and then get the two minute warning.  It would be third down at the 2 minute warning vs now it is second down.  Clearly we used the second timeout to preserve the clock.

Keeping them thinking fg is probably a good thing if we can get the ball back with time but somebody keeps burning time outs
