My dogs refused to come back inside last night.  They get that way whenever it's cold and snowing.

Idiots would go outside, I'd shut the door, then they'd come to the closed door like they wanted in, and as soon as I opened it they'd turn around and run out in the yard again.

Midtown Fayetteville report.  The pre-treatment didn't do much, and the blades aren't getting to the pavement.  I saw a few hundred square feet of uncovered pavement over about 4 miles.  Unless things change a lot this afternoon, I'd say less than 50% chance of public schools opening tomorrow.

Not many cars out and nothings open. Only 3 of my engineers showed up today, so I took them to lunch. La Huerta on college is open.

I cruised thru Cabot...went to the Home of the Depot to get some plumbing supplies so I can fix my leaky water pipe whenever I get around to it. Saw several people in ditches...one guy flat out missed both drive ways at the Beebe sonic near the college and nosed dived his truck into a ditch. I think the main highways will be fairly clear around my area at least by tomorrow but the side roads look like they hard freeze and be a problem.

Took my lunch break to dig my car out. Got it driving back and forth and got it out of the snow drifts. Once on the packed snow in the middle of the street I was ok.

Got a lot of looks taking a mustang GT around in the neighborhood, I was the only one out not in a 4wd. There is no way I'd make it up a hill.

Just spin those tires till they start to melt the snow.  You can do it.  I've seen it happen on Longhills Road in The Greater Saline County.

Roads in LR are mostly fine.  Went down Hinson, Rodney Parham to 430, to my office off Stagecoach, back up 430 to Maumelle, then home down Cantrell.  The worst of it was Taylor Loop and Rahling, and I barely had to slow down on it. 

It will probably be a bitch in the morning since the runoff will refreeze.
