My dad has dementia, but does pretty good most days, his Alzheimer's isn't advanced and the progression has been slowed by erocet.

Mom is sick and going into hospice care... Could be 3 days could be 3 months.

Dad won't make it long after Mom goes. I swear he's been willing himself to stay alive for over a year now just so he can be there for her.

I'll likely have to attend both funerals before summer is over.

I stopped by to see the carnage at Rev's house. I timed it for later in the afternoon after most of the clean up was complete.

I know that was scary having all of those huge trees topple at once. Glad y'all are ok.

True story...I once slipped up and mentioned a widow maker I had on my property.  At the time my babes were smaller, so I asked the board how I should tackle that. I have a chainsaw, and not afraid.

Within 24 hours Rev rolls up in my driveway after work, and pulls out a combination of ropes, chainsaw, and rigging that looked like we're ready to pull a D9 out of a mud hole.

Let us know if you need anything brother. Lord knows you've been there for us.

They are coming to get the truck Monday.  I had to climb in through the passenger side and over the console with a sawzall to cut the limb so I could open the drivers door.
