He seens to be one that let's the game affect him mentally. If he's confident, he plays really well. If not, he's awful. He seems to get frustrated when he makes mistakes or doesn't play. You could tell by looking at him the other night that he was confident.

Brazile didn't play well at South Carolina (no one did), but his best two games against Texass and Vandy came after Thiero's injury.  The playing time thing has real merit.

It is definitely all between the ears w/ Brazile and Davis. Davis, while still having way too many WTF plays/decisions, has definitely played better since Boogie went out. The same for Brazile w/ Thiero. It's not so much who we're playing against, it's more who they're "competing" w/ on their own team.

Numbers are down so much now that they know they're not getting pulled, or at least sat for the rest of the game, for a boneheaded decision.

I think TB has all the potential in the world but I don't know if he has it mentally to compete at the next level to earn a roster spot.

Davis gives off a "I don't give a shit" vibe to me.  It is like he got paid and the team didn't jell so he doesn't give a fuck.  He also has a low Basketball IQ.  Almost like maybe FAU didn't play great competition and his stats were maybe inflated.  But then, three point shooting is threepoint shooting and he did that quit well at FAU.  Here, even when wide open he makes some ugly ass shots.

As far as the biggest "I don't give a shit" vibe, that has to be Aidoo. I realize he has been hurt. People talk about him rebounding better lately. Somebody point me to one rebound he has gotten all year that didn't come directly to him or that he didn't get other than on account of just being taller than the person next to him.

It's almost as if when you pay players with no additional incentive beyond winning, pride, personal dignity, lasting relationships, and/or  memories...other than that I don't think these guys really give a dippy doo if they go deep like into the tournament or not. They get paid the same way.

I know from a fans perspective my emotional attachment to these keeds is at an all time low. That's not me being a dick. That's me thinking why be emotionally invested when the kid clearly isn't. So the relationship between player and fan becomes a transactional one in which there is no performance assurance.  And I'm not saying that to imply that we have guys making "business decisions"...I do think that happened under Muss though...

This team is bizarre.  My response to the SC game was "these kids don't give a damn, they don't even seem to be upset."

Then at Vandy they clearly gave a damn.  I don't get how they can be so inconsistent.
