As someone on Rivals pointed out, Nolan Schubart of OSU hit one over 500 feet to the opposite field yesterday with practically the same EV and launch angle of the fly out Iredale hit that was caught short of the warning track last night.  If Iredale or one of the Aloys really squares one up to left or left center today it might make it to Elkins with a 30 mph wind helping.

If he can continue that, he will be a completely different hitter.

As a left-handed hitter who tended to step in the bucket and pull everything, I know how hard it can be to continue it, though. But he's more talented than me so maybe he can.

I have noticed and started to post that he doesn't keep his head down. He seems to either be looking at the pitcher or the outfield when he swings. If he keeps his head down, good things happen.
