They led 32-28 near the end of the first half. We then went on a small run to end the half up 3.

They never led again.

Show your work here. It did not look to be on its way down, on or in the cylinder, or have already touched the backboard when he blocked. Therefore, it wasn't goaltending.

Re-watched the last 7 minutes of the game this morning, trying to pay attention to the color guy. He wanted St John's to win soooo bad it was sickening. He must live in NY and had $$ on them.

I just now realized SJ shot 28% overall and 2/22 from 3pt.  We didn't shoot 3's much better (2/19) but overall were 43%.  Sure, they may have had an off night but credit our D, and we didn't shoot much better from deep.

for all the crying about them having a bad night shooting, yes, our defense had a lot to do with it.

That was too really good defensive teams going at it. SJ forced us to shoot worse than usual. We were even better on defense.

I watched the game from a plane going from LR to Vegas, wasn't sure I'd be able to, but surprisingly the buffering/freezing wasn't too bad. I would've hated to miss that one. And Spike Lee should stick to movies/commercials because the teams he roots for never win shit.

And a Hog call broke out on plane after the game. 

I can see us beating Tech, then losing to the eventual national champion for the 3rd straight tourney (Florida).

He grew up, went to college, and coached (at least part of his career) in NYC.

All of his coaching career was in the Northeast. Except for basketball travel, he's probably never set foot outside that area.

So it's almost like watching Jay Bilas call Duke games.
