Pretty much this. Although it is a head scratcher to know we were blowing the doors off of Louisville at one point, and they're still ranked ahead of us.

It's probably the same story as always in that not a lot of these voters really watch full games, and more or less vote on wins/losses, and they're putting us as the highest ranked 2 loss team.

Like others have said, just win and it will work itself out.

Brazile worries me a little. I don't know why, but it seems like he is one bad step away from a leg injury. He has these long, slim legs and every time he goes up I wonder if he is going to break one on the way down. Hopefully, it doesn't happen.

Right.  Like no one remembers a few years ago when we beat LSU three times and they stayed ahead of us in the polls, and then we went further than them in the NCAAT and pollsters still tried to rank them ahead of us at the end of the season.  We're just little old Arkansas - whether it's Muss, Cal, or Petrino, the media just can not wait for the run to end so they can go back to telling everyone to forget about us.

I think most of the SOS ratings out right now, are based on who you've played so far.  We've only played 3 of the Elite 8.  I would imagine a majority of the teams that have top 20 SOS's as of today are rent-a-win teams.  It should balance out when we get into conference play.

Acuff is averaging more assists and points than anyone Cal has coached, including Rose. Also out scoring Fox and Wall by 5ppg.

he was all about buckets before coming to play for cal. coach as done a great job getting him to embrace the point guard role.

He's a much superior shooter than Rose, Fox, or Wall when they were in college. He's not as athletic as any of them, but that doesn't really matter.

He reminds me of Kyrie a lot. Plays under the rim and uses his ball handling to get where he wants to go. Stephon Marbury is another good comp.

before cal came here, i did not like him. it was probably jealousy as much as anything because he kicked our ass so much. but i was wrong about him. he's a good dude, and i'm liking him more every time i see stuff like that.
