mrs. muss made a pretty big deal of it at the time. wasn't too long after that mcpherson disappeared from the press conferences for a while.

supposedly it echoed what mcpherson was stirring up on nobville. how could muss start a transfer over robinson, he'd never sign another arkansas kid, etc., etc.

i don't know, he did the right thing in entering the portal.
