Your Arkansas Razorbacks take on the Methouri Tigers for a three game series supposedly starting tomorrow at 7:00PM on the SECN. The series might resume at 6:00PM Saturday and may finish up on Sunday at 2:00PM. The last two games will be on SECN+ and the ESPN app. The Tigers are 0-9 in conference play so we do not need to be their slump busters. I really don't expect any of these games to be played at the times or dates listed due to weather, so we will see. As usual, GO HOGS!

Due to the weather and the uncertainty of the start times I won't be in attendance for any of these games.  Depending on when they start I should be able to take at least one or two of them for PBP.

Sounds good.

Watched the Tigers narrowly escape the UAPB Lions last night. Won on a walkoff hit in the ninth. They are not good.

Sadly, this might get wiped out by weather.
Check your damn blood pressure!

Damn, was looking forward to watching tonight after a long week.

I can't complain about a Saturday doubleheader, though.

First game postponed.  No plan yet for when it will be played.

Surely it's tomorrow. SEC travel curfew rules make Sunday doubleheaders tough.

There supposed to be a break in the rain from roughly 1-9pm tomorrow. That should be sufficient enough to squeeze in a DH.

The rain looks like it's back Sunday morning and won't ease up until noon.

Oh wow. I watched a bit of that game early and UAPB was ahead by a few runs as I remember. I forgot to go back and check in.

Looks like a game tomorrow at 4:00 and then a seven inning double header Sunday starting at 1:00.
Well, shit...

Hognrock

Looks like a game Sat at 4:00 then a DH on Sunday starting at 1:00, both games of the DH will be 7 innings.

SoS beat me to the punch.

Yeah, Lions jumped out to a 5-0 lead. Mizz tied it up in the 8th and won it in the 9th.

Against all odds, it appears that your Arkansas Razorbacks are going to play baseball today!  Your opponent is a foe that will undoubtedly hurt our RPI and all metrics involved in determining host status, the University of Missourah - Columbia Tigers.  A team that not even Jesus loves.  The school that killed Bob Holt.  Meth.  Letters instead of numbers on their highways.  More meth.

First pitch will be on or just after 4PM God's Country Time (GCT) from the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium.

Your starting lineups.

Meth Mites:

(EDITOR'S NOTE:  This lineup is subject to change.  It's listed on the live stats page on SECSports.com, and ours is correct on there.  Will edit if it's wrong.  Maybe.)

1. Keegan Knutson 2B
2. Kaden Peer CF
3. Mateo Serna 1B
4. Gehrig Goldbeck DH
5. Tyler Macon LF
6. Pierre Seals RF
7. Chris Patterson 3B
8. Jedier Hernandez C
9. Peyton Basler SS

P.  Kaden Jacobi RHP

YOUR ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS:

1. Charles Davalan LF
2. Wehiwa Aloy SS
3. Logan Maxwell RF
4. Kuhio Aloy DH
5. Brent Iredale 3B
6. Cam Kozeal 1B
7. Ryder Helfrick C
8. Nolan Souza 2B
9. Justin Thomas Jr. CF

P. Zach Root

While perusing the Missouri notable alumni page on Wikipedia, I happened to notice one in particular that they must be proud of, as she's listed as the first name in the Military, Politics and Government, and Science and Technology sections.

Huda Salih Mahdi Ammash.

Not exactly a household name, I'll grant you that.  Her claim to fame was being in charge of Saddam Hussein's WMD program (when they actually had one).  She was also a member of Hussein's Revolutionary Command Council, and one of the 55 most wanted (remember the playing cards?) when we invaded Iraq.

In other words, Missouri educated the woman responsible for gassing the Kurds and other atrocities.  Not quite as bad a look for them as giving Pat Forde a journalism degree, but it's close.

(EDITOR'S NOTE:  In what I'm sure is a completely unrelated move, the Razorbacks have declared this series Military Appreciation Weekend.)

Score updates while we wait...

(3) Georgia leads at (5) texass 4-2, but whorns are threatening in the bottom of the 5th.

Kentucky leads (9) Ole Miss 2-1 in Lexington, top 5th.

(7) LSU 3, (10) Mobilehoma 1, bottom 5th.

( 8 ) Alabama and (16) Auburn tied 2-2, bottom 5th.

Aggy leads at (1) Tennessee 4-3 bottom 5th.

Vandy won at Florida 3-2 to wrap up a series win and send the Gators to 1-10 in the SEC.

Miss State evened their series with South Carolina in the battle to stay ahead of Florida and Aggy and out of the cellar with an 11-4 win.
