We lose this series and the season may not end well.  We could easily lose three of the last four series.  Florida might be the only series we win.  Texas, LSU and Tennessee will be extremely difficult.

This is ironic given how much grief I gave the kid, but we're going to miss Souza's bat in the lineup. 

He was a strikeout prone guess hitter, true, but he had power, hit the ball hard when he made contact, and could hit opposite field.

A 7-8-9 of Iredale, Fraser, and Thomas doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Thomas was a bright spot tonight.  Surprised Dave pinch hit for him. 

Also expected him to pinch hit Boles for Fraser.   I wouldn't be shocked to see some other permutation of the lineup tomorrow.  Maybe Diggs at 1st and Kozeal at 2nd, possibly even Fraser or Robinett at 3rd for one game.  Iredale needs to sit and watch a game or two.

Was going to say something similar about Iredale. I'm not sure who could/would handle the hot corner (maybe Robinett), but Iredale probably needs to take a seat.

It's futile to follow a baseball season game by game. There will be hot stretches and cold stretches in any season. We had a hot stretch until before Georgia, now we are in a cold stretch. A&M had a horrible cold stretch for a few weeks, now they're in a hot stretch.

So there are only two keys. Be consistent enough to get a good position in the NCAA tournament, then hit a hot stretch during the NCAA tournament.

Agree about Iredale. I think maybe sitting him a few games might help him. He is definitely in a huge slump.
