Thin Red Swine

Why the heck did Peppi start over Robinett, anyway? They started a righty.

I was wondering the same thing. And a shitty righty.
Well, shit...

Cardiac Hog

Righties were batting .260, lefties .170 against Evans their starter per Phil.  That's why Boles and Peppi started over Maxwell and Robinett.

Lies and statistics.

Maxwell didn't look ready to come back, but I guess it was good to knock off some rust.

Robinett needs to get more time.

I was wondering the same thing. White Diggs shouldn't be taking at bats away from Robinette at this point.

Not to beat this dead horse again, but Pittman is entering his 6th year. Who would have thought that in 2020?

I figured the understanding was he's a "bridge" guy to set up the next hire, but give him the chance to prove he can coach with the big boys. In 6 years, his record doesn't reflect that.

"Doesn't matter. Nobody's listening anyway."
The same people demanding everyone embrace your beliefs, have zero tolerance and condemn another for embracing theirs.  Oh, the irony.

Right now I don't think Peppi could hit .260 off a tee.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

Peppi is John Bolton 2.0. He's slugging .261 with 0 homers and 2 doubles. And he plays a non-critical position.

And while we're at it, Diggs is hitting a crisp .083 in SEC play (1-12 with 6 Ks).

Neither of those guys need to see the field again this season.

Bolton could at least play defense.  Similar at the plate though.
