Well, time to get back on the horse. Our Hogs take on the Tennessee Volunqueers for the final SEC regular season series beginning tomorrow. Let's hope our bats wake up and our pitching is up to par.

Things got chippy with UT-Vandy last weekend.  I wouldn't be surprised to see some sparks fly this weekend between Vitello and DVH, and the players will back each of their coaches up.

I have a feeling it'll be Gaeckle or Bybee, but then again I'm usually wrong.

He did hint that they'll go all out to win game 1 (presumably because that effectively locks up a national seed) so we could see Gaeckle called on again in G1 if Jimenez struggles in relief and it's a tight game.

I get the feeling they'd like to throw Gaeckle out one more time in a starting spot to see how he responds and if he can be called upon as a spot starter in the postseason. Similarly, I get the impression that DVH doesn't trust Beidelschies at all.
