Yeah, I watched it and I don't have the slightest idea the real facts. The caption is not something to put any stock in.

I think it may be an old video

SwahiliSteve

Yep. I'm not trying to be a dick about it. It could have lived. It didn't. Not by my choice. -Elvis

Funny how every coach in the country talks about how we out recruit everyone every year and have the best talent on the country. But, every year, we shit the bed with this talent. Is it coaching? Or do we really have the talent they talk about. Because it sure looks like some other teams are waaay better than we are every year. I have a feeling we won't make it out of our regional again this year.
Well, shit...

BleedinRed

I think we 100% make it out of the regional. I think we most likely make it out of the super.

We lose game 1 in Omaha we are done.  We don't have the pitching to come out of the losers bracket.

It's no secret I'm not a huge DVH fan.  As unpopular of a take as it may be, and probably a little retarded too, I think he is a very good coach but not great.

I don't think his in game decision making, particularly with the pitching, is all that great.  His teams have won the SEC regular season three times and the conference tournament once. I've never subscribed to the "post season is all we care about" talk.   If you can't win your conference then winning in the NCAA tournament isn't likely.

His teams always have some issue.  We can hit but can't pitch, like this year; or we can pitch but can't hit.

I'd take Tony V or Wes Johnson right now straight up.

With all that said, in no way am I suggesting he should be fired.  He deserves to go out on his own terms.  He has been great for the program and Hopefully he gets a championship soon.

Pig Benis

Good. He deserves a shot as much as anyone.
The Lord wants you to put your foot on their balls and believe in it. 'Cuz that's what wins football games. Not jumping offsides like a bunch of wimps and faggots. I don't care what those pinkos over in Russia say. You want to be a loser? You go live in Russia. I'm a winner. I'm an American.

All criticism of Van Horn is fair until he gets done what three quarters of the SEC (it seems like) has done since he has been here, win it all.

This criticism will always need a *.

He got it done, but shit happened, unless you're going to hold a second baseman wanting to be a hero in the moment against the head coach's coaching ability.

You should reconsider that. The national championship is the ONLY title that matters.

I don't disagree.  But Shirley, you know that isn't my point.

There are some coaches that always have things happen to them.

This is a 100% accurate point and something I often discount.  He should have a championship.

I don't agree Carson was trying to be a hero.  Kid was trying to win.  As they say, shit Arkansas happens.

They don't get to CWS without him. He had a great season that year. It's too bad that one play tainted it for him.

Apparently retarded member of the "fucking old people" crowd as defined by Swahili Steve.

Weird that's going viral years later. Should we dog pile on the guy that posted it

So you can line up for Friday's game (fine), but ALSO save your front of the line spot for Saturday's game, by leaving your tent up while you are in Friday's game?

I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with Rick on that one. The line starts new once people shuffle into Friday's game. If you're not there, you're not there. Pick a lane.

The Whyte Boar

Yeah, what if you just want to go to the Saturday game?

Same.  It is frustrating to watch year after year.  We have the best player development facilities in the nation, but as with everything else in the SEC, others are catching up rapidly and some will soon pass us.
I'm on smoko, so leave me alone.
