I don't remember seeing a lineup with 7 out of 9 hitters being LH for NDSU. Probably why we saw Coil and now Beetlejuice. Threw off with Jiminez.

Good hohum 1st game win. A little surprised our bats weren't better but would guess we didn't get too up for the opponent.

Somebody explain why we let their baserunner take second with catcher indifference. We were up 4, but one swing away from being up 2. And we took away a possible double play. I don't agree with that.

Only thing I can think of was that they didn't want to leave the entire right side of the infield open. Willing to surrender one run to potentially head off a big inning.
