TL;DR — they seem to be bullish on us, and quite literally said "Hog fans who think they drew a tough regional just have PTSD from the last 2 years."

One of the guys said of the 16 hosts, he's the most confident we'll come out of our regional after LSU.

arkansas - 3rd
kansas - 24th
creighton - 43th
ndsu - 58th

while anything can happen, the records alone don't tell the whole story. big difference between 40 wins in the sec and 40 in the big east, imo.

I'm sure of one thing.  Whatever teams we play will come out with their piss hot.  They always do in regionals.

I know traditionally lefties have given us trouble, but this year in particular, it seems like right handed breaking balls have been our achilles. Both Aloy's and Iredale swing and miss a lot. For the most part our left handed hitters have done a better job not trying to pull left handed breaking balls like the 3 guys above.

I don't have any numbers to back that up, so I may have selective memory there. I certainly did with Mcentire. Either way, I would be curious to see how we stack up against RHP and LHP. Especially the three guys above.

Robinett is the one lefty with a lot of swing and miss, especially at the low and inside pitch that constantly fools the the righties (Aloys, Iredale, Helfrick, and Thomas).
