My wife and I are going to get to go to the game Friday.  Hopefully it won't be really competitive game, but then we will go see my grandson play. I'm excited.

Draft Kings has the Hogs as the biggest regional favorite at -450. I thought it would be LSU since the average RPI in their regional is 99.

I really don't get the degree of confidence the money guys have in us.

I think we can win the regional and super regional, but I would never put money on it.

The money guys would argue that historical outcomes don't affect the odds of this year's team.  But we know better.

I would think baseball is one of the hardest sports for Vegas to predict. Especially college baseball.

Less than a month ago, A&M was the 5th or 6th most likely to win the CWS on DraftKings.

Kansas lost to Minnesota earlier this year in game 1 and then scored 29 runs in game 2. We basically did the same thing against NC State in the supers a few years ago.

Betting on college baseball just seems crazy.

It was. I always thought that was one of the most questionable moves DVH ever made.

Kopps had just pitched 2.0 innings in game 2. Starting him in game 3 basically signaled that he didn't trust any of his pitchers, and that he didn't feel like we were going to piss a drop at the plate.

Of course, Kopps pitched his ass off, and right on cue our hitters couldn't do a damn thing to back him up with run support.

IMO, starting Kopps wasnt a questionable move.  It was the right move.  

Where it went wrong is Dave sent him back out there in the 9th.  That was stupid.  He let Kopps talk him into it.  

To your point though, we had no one else to send out there and the batters didn't help at all.

We had Wicklander, our #1 starter, ready to go in.  Once he relieved Kopps he did well.  Just a batter too late.

I would've started Bybee.  He's been lights out against the four seed type teams on our schedule.  Think he could have given us six innings or so with no more than 1-2 runs, which should have been enough for a comfortable win.

The way Mc has been pitching, I think you save him for the real games.

Agreed.  Mac has a history of pitching well in elimination games.  The moment doesn't get to big for him. 

If we end up losing Saturday (or Friday I guess) and have to play five instead of three, I'd imagine he's starting one of them.
