We're not talking enough about Pompey's play at 3rd base yesterday.

He saved at least 3 runs in the late innings yesterday, maybe more.

In the 8th, Mo State had runners at 2nd and 3rd with 1 out and hit an absolute laser to him. He was able to keep the runner on and get the force at 1st, and the very next batter hit a hard ground ball to him to end the inning.

If he doesn't make the play on the 1 out ball, MSU makes it 8-7 and probably ends up tying it up.
