Two bad breaks for the Chargers

Ouch. Rough night for the former Oregon qb.
I really don't care, Margaret.

vegashog

playing like shit in the playoffs, a chargers tradition.

That guy standing behind Ryan Clark on First Take looks like he could be a women's shot putter for East Germany circa 72'.

I mean he looks like a 60 year old Nellie Olsen on Winstrol...

Id gladly carry around a step ladder or just climb that like a tree

So I have a question...just not NFL but overall. When the play clock is running down and about to hit 0 is it really worth burning a time out to save 5 yards?

In the first half yes. The TOs are for situations like that. In the second half no. More valuable for the end of game scenarios.

I was very surprised when Rogers audibled to BERNIE BERNIE BERNIE they didn't run left.

Faked me out and went right.

Along those lines, who knew that fumbling the ball before going out of bounds results in a 10-second runoff? I presume only in the last two minutes of a half.

That cost SF three points last night.

I'd never seen that.

Yeah that was fucked up.

That's been the rule for a few years now.

It's basically to prevent a situation where a ball carrier can't make the sideline and chucks the ball out of bounds to stop the clock.

Show-Me Hog

This is a really shitty football game overall. Texans keep wanting to give it away and the Steelers are so awful there is no way they can take it.

Metcalf going to go take a swing at another fan at this rate.

And probably miss.

Flipped over to the Manning Cast and they were roasting Pitt's OL

Maybe it's nostalgia talking but if I'm the Steelers I'd think of going all in for next season and giving Tomlin and Rodgers the chance for one more run.
