Extenuating circumstances??

Browns GM Andrew Berry cited Green's "raw physical gifts," which include 4.36 speed and two records set at the NFL Combine in the broad jump and vertical. He acknowledged Green's 37 turnovers the past two seasons, but said there were extenuating circumstances at Arkansas.

The dude just can't play qb. Sorry, but he isn't intelligent enough. His brain is always 2 seconds behind where it should be and he makes lots of bad decisions.

Maybe the Browns' offense is a lot dumber than Bobby's. But I doubt it.

Absolutely if he had some better talent he'd only had 27 turnovers and maybe 3 more wins. The rest is him being the same guy he was at Boise State where there were also circumstances (inconsistency). Bobby couldn't fix him entirely and really I'm not sure what Bobby was trying to do was the best thing for him (making him pseudo Lamar Jackson).

He can't lead a receiver for crap which kills "yards after a catch". You can't play pro ball if you can't throw a crossing route.

I think they'll tell him he's got a shot at backup qb, and on the second day of practice they move him to wr.

He knows enough to know route trees. Can't be that hard to learn how to catch and run crisp routes.
