Quote from: Spiderham on Apr 25, 2026, 08:04 AMYeah I would have bet a lot of money that a member of our historically terrible defense would not be picked at all.
They had to do some serious searching to find a Neal highlight that didn't involve dropping back 7-10 yards and giving up a 8 yard slant.

Washington and Green had great numbers at the combine. I guess the NFL scouts actually watched some film

Neal actually looked competent at times.  No one can cover all five receivers at once by himself.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

Very productive inside runner, with quick feet, but subpar long speed. Decent hands and pass blocker. Potentially a three down back. Reminds me Samje Perine. I'm fine with it.

Love the Joly pick. Undersized but athletic and great hands. Thought he'd go in the 4th.

Green to the Browns with the first pick of the 6th round.

Another place where QBs go to die.

ESPiN trying hard to pump him up with Monken being there.

vegashog

green almost certainly wasn't going to get a regular game snap this coming season regardless where he went. getting some good coaching with no pressure to play is probably the best thing for him if he wants to stick at qb.

Pumpkin Escobar

Green doesn't process quickly enough for this level. Good luck to him. Back to the Broncos, I'd like move up in the 7th and roll the dice on Harold Perkins Jr. Maybe he can get back to what he looked like before the injury.

Forgive me if this has been covered but why wasn't Carmona in last year's draft?
Things of that nature

Texzilla

Pavia looking like a cfl player.  He may not get a UDFA shot.

Green should have gone to combine camp to learn how to be a WR.  He'll take a pay cut and will be lucky to make Browns practice squad. What a fucked up QB room.  If he learned WR his athleticism is off the charts and he had a way better chance of making big money.

Pumpkin Escobar

Gotdamn Falcons pick Perkins. Give me Lawson at Bama.

The Browns are the perfect situation for Green to derp his way into somehow starting when lil Deion gets killed.

He will be fine till he has to find his second read.

Extenuating circumstances??

Browns GM Andrew Berry cited Green's "raw physical gifts," which include 4.36 speed and two records set at the NFL Combine in the broad jump and vertical. He acknowledged Green's 37 turnovers the past two seasons, but said there were extenuating circumstances at Arkansas.
