This is my main thing, apart from him just not being a good HC.  It's wild watching these other programs with younger, smarter head coaches than us, and Pittman has somehow fucked Yurachek into a corner and is untouchable as long as he wins 6 fucking games a year.

agreed. I honestly don't think he even wants to coach. I think he sees staying a bit longer as just getting more money and that's what he's doing. He's not truly vested in this program. He's more vested in being fat and drinking beer at the lake

He's in his sixth year and so far he's only produced one season of above average results, his second year where he went 8-4. That's it. That's what all of this is hanging on. That's the new ceiling for him.

And even in that year, we still lost at home to a horrible Auburn team.


He's basically Bert 2.0, only instead of brash in your face cockiness with subpar results, he has quiet presumptuous arrogance with the same subpar results.

Blame Yurachek for Sam being able to hold us for money.  I went and played golf Sat afternoon so didn't see any of the game.  Didn't even check the score until we were done.  I do think Yurachek has done well in some aspects but football hasn't been one of them.
