You might be right, right there.  Isn't his title assistant HC or some shit?  So would he automatically be the interim... or COULD HY say nope, someone else is interim?

That's fair.  However, we win a couple of games based on increased effort, especially on D, alone.  So if the interim can manage to get the team up, then we at least may LOOK a little better.  Won't change the talent issue, but may fix some game planning and effort.

Petrino might want a 3 year deal or something. I agree it's going to be difficult to wash this stank off. I guess it just depends on how bad he wants to take it over and does he believe he can turn things around. There isn't exactly a lot of coaches among them that inspire any confidence at all. This may be the worst staff in P5.

Ole Miss dropped multiple INT's from Green. Memphis shut us down in the second half. The offense is cooked.

He was the ST coach who ran the fake punt today on 4th and 10 from his own 20 for a first down.
He owns us on special teams.
