How bad are we gonna get our asses kicked in two weeks by TN?
Yep. I'm not trying to be a dick about it. It could have lived. It didn't. Not by my choice. -Elvis

If Sam isn't gone after today, maybe those 1200 people that show up for the next game will make a difference.

Quote from: HTL on Sep 27, 2025, 03:13 PMOle Miss dropped multiple INT's from Green. Memphis shut us down in the second half. The offense is cooked.

80% of the QB's playing today will have dropped interceptions.

Against Memphis Russell coughed one up on the 3 and Green had one called back on a bullshit hold. The scoreboard shows 3 but it's 17 without those 2 plays.

The offense isn't the problem and its not even close.

Think about how much better everyone is going to get by playing their backups valuable garbage time against this bunch.

saying that a historically bad defense should have made some stops is not really an argument, imo.

Much of that is not play calling, though.  For whatever reason, in the second half, Green seems to completely regress in mechanics, OL seems more gassed, and we cough the ball up, WR drop passes much more than the first.

It feels sometimes like Green is trying to force things, gets flustered, and regresses.  Perhaps, in some cases because the D is a wide open screen door.  However, this team as a whole has a loser mentality.  They seriously don't know how to fight and win and have no confidence in being able to win the moment they are behind or lose a bit of momentum.

Hey, at least we didn't fumble away our chance to win in the last minute.
We got past that.

Agree. Our OL protects Green pretty well. We have the running backs and definitely the receivers. Green just doesn't seem to see the whole field very well and tries to thread the needle when he has wide open receivers elsewhere.

I thought #4 was tippy toeing a lot in this game but who could blame him with all the candy asses blocking

they had almost all our routes covered perfectly today, no receivers running open. that's scouting and recognizing tendencies. we haven't faced the best defenses we're going to see by far.

That's also a product of being up by 21 28 35 and being able to sell out against the pass

Quote from: TC on Sep 27, 2025, 03:12 PMGreen obviously had his worst game of the year, but the offense isn't the problem and it's not even close. Hell if the D just comes up with 1-2 stops against Ole Miss and Memphis we're 4-0 going into today.

And we still lose this game 56-14 or whatever the final score is.  We would have been fools gold.

The whole damned team quit today.  They wanted to get out of the stadium by ND's second TD.  That's both sides of the ball.

A lot of second stringers can earn some NIL money against us.

Agreed. But the point I'm making still stands...our offense isn't the problem and it's not even close.

When our offense stalls though the entire thing falls apart because the defense cant be relied on to stop my daughters high school volleyball team.

I love BP as much as anyone. But 21 points and two fumbles in key win the game drives over the last three games in the second half isn't good offense.

I sat 4 rows behnd the team on the 50. There wasn't one person on our sideline that gave one shit/

Absolutely pathetic.

Yeah. This week we had a fumble in the last minute of the FIRST half.

Progress!
