Do recall how dire the end of the '23 season was? Lot of chatter about Pittman getting canned after the Enos debacle. You wouldn't hire one of the best OCs in the country who just became a available, and that would also get the fanbase back on your side to save your ass? You think that is farfetched??

The former would be a Cal situation. The latter would be someone looking to get back to coaching in the south, but that seems like a bygone reason for a coach to leave an annual playoff contender
