They're a good team, that's a hard atmosphere to play in, and we have freshmen playing a lot of minutes.  Cal wanted these games to speed run getting us ready for SEC play.  It is what it is.

we got killed on the boards and points in the paint. shot 65% from the line. make some freaking ft and we win.

I pointed these issues out within five minutes of watching the scrimmage. Is what it is for this year.

We need to setup our student section like that. Duke, Auburn, etc. do it and it makes a difference. Get this, we put our students on the end that we're on OFFENSE in the second half. Our administration is a bunch of idiots.

Just back to the hotel from the game. Really fun game to go to. They've got a killer student section, good fans that were all really complimentary of the team and fans that traveled. There was a decent amount of red in the crowd, more than I thought there would be.

We won't shoot that bad from the field most nights. Ewin isn't much which is what I saw in the scrimmage. Pringle is our only glass cleaner.

Didn't look like we got much out of the bench and guys like Brazil can't turn in nothing performances and win these games. But it was a tough game on the road so there's that.

I asked earlier this year if we had any big guys. What I meant was wide bodies. We don't apparently. Anyone with a big, wide body that can play inside will kill us. But, we will get better as the year progresses.

This has been the curse with Brazile. Brilliant one night, completely disappears the next. He's got to be more consistent.

There aren't many teams that have physical bigs anymore. Duke will be a challenge with Boozer though.

I was a little surprised we didn't double late. Cal may very well be trying to prove a point with our bigs. He's called them out a few times now.

Except I thought our offense played very, very poorly yesterday. 66 is far less than I expected. Brazile and Knox both doing a disappearing act. The only one who remotely met or exceeded expectations was Wagner.

Thomas missed a lot of open looks too.  Previous games he would have hit at least 2-3 more of those.  We're gonna be fine

Score is dictated by pace. In the second half MSU slowed the game down and tried going inside every play. They did it some in the first half but did it non stop in the second.

Our defensive rating went up after last night. We held them to poor shooting all night. Even the commentator's talked about our pressure defense.
