Darius Acuff Jr. is the only freshman in SEC history with multiple 30 point games in a single tournament run

I've been watching the Hogs since the 70's, he's definitely the best PG we've ever had and amongst the best we've had at any position. Sucks we only get him for one year, but he's going to be a star in the NBA.

And he's awesome fifty-leven ways.

Those 11 assists... they were doubling him a lot at the top of the key, helped DJ and Brazile get those looks

Two wasn't enough, either

And this was not a great game for him.  Legend!

Thanks.

I'd pick him number one just for his marketability. Actually, I'd pick him number one because he's the best point guard in a while. Combine the two...

He would be almost a guaranteed top 3 pick in almost any other year, but this year is just different. It really just depends on where the ping pong balls fall and who has the top picks. Or of course somebody could trade up. The Bucks desperately need a PG so I could see them trading Giannis to move up. Also the Mavs. Pacers or Wizards (worst records and highest chance to get the top 2 picks) won't draft him because they have Haliburton and Trae, respectively. He's already proven his worth this season, but he is going to really impress at the combine.

don't want to see him go to the kings, jazz, or the hawks. i think those other guards will go before him anyway. the mavs would be a good spot. he and flagg can be the foundation of the team for a lot of years.

Doc Hogaday

Agree. The height thing is going to be an issue vs some of the other guards. Also no to Brooklyn or Memphis.

I hope this happens. I'd drive to Dallas to watch them. If they're smart, they'll look at the baseball tournament crowds and realize how big an Arkansas presence there is in that area.

The other thing about pairing him w/ Flagg is they would be on back-to-back rookie contracts for a few years. That frees up a lot of free agent money to bring in another big name or 2. And keep Gafford down there too. Imagine the lobs from Acuff to Flagg and Gafford.

With all due respect to his current teammates, I will watch some NBA to see him do his thing with a couple of NBA horses on the other end of his passes.  Memphis is drivable once a year when he comes through town.
