Gets its own thread because I have a question: how do losing fans sell their tickets for the rest of the tournament now? I suppose the only way is to browse the online sites (StubHub, TFL, etc). Gone are the days when a disgusted fan going home can sell them cheaply and impulsively.

Back in the day, you would wait in the concourse for the losing fans to file out and hope they were so pissed that you got quality seats for the rest of the tourney at a song.
Now it is all done through Ticketmaster.
I have grown quite tired of buying tickets for the SEC tourney through the U of A and being in the upper rafters of Bridgestone Arena (I could actually touch the roof when I stood up one year).  I have tickets for our session Friday night and will wing it after that.
Prices online are ridiculous right now in the lower bowl.  They usually release some tickets tomorrow morning through the SEC office.  I'll check that in the morning but probably just buy to sessions I want to go to as cheap as I can find except for sessions the Hogs play.
My daughter is in Nashville so we are making a week of it.  I love our draw as far as when we play.  Going up Wednesday and coming home Monday morning.  We are staying at the Embassy Suites right by the arena so I can go over and watch Kentucky lose and see how pissed the Big Blue Nation gets.

I'M GOING. This is what I am doing:
I have tickets for our session Friday night and will wing it after that.

I won't buy for any session we are not in. I probably won't buy for Sunday if we are playing Florida.

I would ASSUME for the last game on Friday even though I bought the cheapest nosebleed seat, I will be able to poach on a much better empty seat.

Hitting some new to me places to eat/drink in Nashville.  Anybody have opinions on these or favorites?

Audrey's
Fox Bar and Cocktail Club
Husk
Red Headed Stranger (this one I know but love.  Funky Tex/Mex in a neighborhood.  Probably late lunch/early dinner before our game Friday)
Bad Idea
Catbird Seat
Patterson House.

Some we are thinking about:
ETCH
Luogo
Iberian Pig
Lockland Table
The Finch

Always like Urban Grub but may not hit it this time as we have been there several times.
Usually hit Biscuit Love for breakfast once
Love Kanye Prime as well in the gulch.
I've done Pancake Pantry and the hot chicken places.
Oak Grove in the house.

Barton Fink

I like Southern. We are thinking about going as well.

I usually look at what is still for sale on Ticketmaster as the game starts and move down into those seats.   :D

I know nothing about Nashville except Pancake Pantry, but I screenshotted this summary from an influencer article last week.

Husk, by far, is my favorite restaurant in Nashville.

I hate lower Broad but you have to go to Robert's Western World. It's the only "real" country place left.

Hattie B's for hot chicken.

Just go to Monell's for a late breakfast and you won't need to eat again that day.   :D

Ain't that the damn truth! Last time we were there we sat at a table with 2 linemen from the Titans. Needless to say they had to bring us extra bowls of mashed taters.

My oldest brother goes every year and he definitely enjoys it when the Big Blue toilet bowl gets flushed.  It reaffirms that the Lord is real and he does care about the least of us.

LSU/KY trading threes right now. Both started out slow.
Well, shit...

All things considered, a good first half for the corn dogs.

Yeah, I was gonna say I don't often cheer for LSU, but will make an exception in this case

Same.

I want to see the market flooded with all the tickets from dejected Kentucky fans.

Plus I want my early season boast to a Kentucky fan acquaintance...asking if I could have his tickets after they lose on Wednesday...to come to fruition.
Perish peacefully in a warm environment.

Refs have been letting KY get away with murder under the basket.
Well, shit...

Damn.  What a dunk.  Fucking killed the Kentucky guy.
