That seems much more rational. I listened to some of Wilkerson's podcast this morning. Vandy getting wins over TN and FL while we got wins over Ole Miss and OU means it's impossible for us to catch them in the metrics.

I watched that this morning on YouTube. It's a fair point, but like what he said too, it's not our fault that we took care of our business and A&M and Bama didn't. I get sick of metrics. They're a good guide, but rational eye test and head-to-head should still count for something. Otherwise, what is even the point of having a committee?

All the Kentucky fans will be rooting against Cal. Any Florida or Alabama fan remaining will be rooting for Vanderbilt as the team that beat them. Generally, Vandy is seen as the less accomplished underdog no matter the seedings. So basically, I don't see the Hogs picking up any support outside of Razorback fans.

Lunardi made the case yesterday that Fl should have the 1 over UConn because of SOS, Strength of Conference, and they beat UConn. This was before both played their games. Why wouldn't that apply to
us and Vandy, especially if we beat them again?
