LSU doesn't add near the value to the league that they think they do.  Bunch of lower tier TV markets (all smaller than the LR market).  Unlike Alabama, Auburn, and even Georgia and Tennessee they don't have pull in Birmingham.   

They had best play ball.  Clemson would join the league tomorrow to keep the requisite number of Tigers and fill out the Death Valley quota.  Hell Notre Dame might join up if the money is right.
