I feel like he's trying to build a core group of guys that may be 3 or 4 year guys kind of coinciding with his desire to close out his career on a high note. Maybe the market for the older guys just wasn't there this season...idk. It'll be a really good team but it's going to show it's age in the biggest moments. It just feels like he's aiming for a long term 3 to 5 year window and then he's done.

I hope like hell he'll give us 5 more years because the decline will be ugly. We're already taking $ from baseball and will take more from basketball once he's gone in a desperate to attempt to go 5-7 in football.
