Yurachek Absent From List of 2026 LRTDC Speakers

Hunter Yurachek returned David Bazzel's invitation to speak at the LRTDC with "Mr. Yurachek will be unable to attend." It will be the first in the Club's history the UA AD has not been among the list of speakers on the schedule. What is the collective groupthink of Woopig?

From what I've heard the longest tenured of the three would cancel a game to help him pack if necessary.

van horn's beef was the percentage of revenue sharing the program was getting. he said himself he got the resources he needed for this year. is he still pissed about it? probably, but i doubt he's going to raise too big a stink if he's seeing something being done to improve the situation. there will never be enough for any coach at any school.

yurachek just hired a football coach and barring a chick and a motorcycle or something to do with kids, that coach will get two years. at that time the ad's contract is up and off he goes. i think the idea of another interim ad leaves the powers that be, and the boosters, a little gun shy about that happening again.

I don't like the guy but on the same token I can accept that there are far worse....like Jeff Long. HYs biggest deal has been his idiotic takes...as I've said before it's okay to think some of the things he's thinking but don't air that shit to the public. He made us sound like poors a year ago and it's literally his job to make it not be the case

Yurachek has been worse than Jeff Long.

Both suck terribly, but Yurachek oversaw the bottoming out of our football program, including the worst stretch in its history, and set our program back immeasurably with NIL. He's also proven to be shitty at hiring coaches.

The only big sport hires by Long, who hired Bielema (who was a great hire on paper) and Anderson (who our entire fan base wanted). Yurachek was AWOL during the Morris era, fucked up the 2019 and 2025 coaching searches despite having a head start in both, gave Pittman a profoundly stupid contract and kept him around 2 years too long, and is a walking clusterfuck.
