I noticed the "Bobby couldn't even win with last year's team" people have gotten quiet in the game threads.  Should have looked at the market and given him at least this year.  Instead we rushed to be the first to hire a Memphis coach no one else was actually interviewing.  Now I'm stuck hoping that Memphis coach turns it around and makes us winners again.

I owe no apologies to Bobby, because I was always on his side. He deserved to have the mess swept under the rug in 2012 like any other real SEC school would have and he deserved a chance of redemption in 2026.

He ain't worried. I'd love to be able to land a job way outside of my abilities and get paid $6 mil to go away when it didn't work out. He DGAF. Much like the players. They're getting paid regardless of outcome. Why would they try any harder? Why risk getting hurt when you can tiptoe up to the line and preserve yourself because the team is embarrassingly bad anyway?

Since Bobby took another OC job and from his own words, just wanted to teach offense again (in so many words, whether or not just saying it to support sam at the time), I wouldn't be surprised if he wouldn't have stayed on as OC.
