I'm not necessarily against it, but it's kind of strange that #7 Penn St and #9 Texas both fell all the way out of the Top 25 with their second losses this weekend.

Notre Dame's two losses were very close and to two of the top five teams in the country. 

Penn State lost to maybe the worst P4 team.  Texas lost to a bad Florida team.

their opponents were 1-7 combined entering the games. think that has a lot to do with it.

To get more people to go to the North Texas game on Friday they've done the following

- Cancelled classes on Friday
- if you scan you student ticket and go to the game you're entered for a scholarship giveaway
- for non students if you buy a ticket to this game they gave you a free ticket for the next home game


All this to try and fill up a 30,000 person stadium when they're 5-0 for the first time since 1959 😅

North Texas has never, ever  been able to draw a crowd.  Don't know why. It's a big school.  They had 20,000 + students in the late 70's when I was in law school in Dallas.

Texas hasn't beaten a P4 team yet this year. Notre Dame barely lost their 2 games to two Top 6 teams by a combined 6 points.

Penn State lost to a team that has not lead a single second of a game this year, and had their coaching staff fired.

Neither should be ranked. They're not one of the best 25 teams in the country.

It's completely different.  Kimmel lied.  And the cable channels have a duty to the "public good."  Espn doesn't.

you have to follow the succession of Disney/ABC's messages about Finebaum.  When the show was aired where the prospect of him running for office took place, they initially said they were taking him off the air completely.  Over the next 2-3 days they back-tracked a little more each day. 

Say what you want about Clay Travis, but he documented each step pretty damned will.
