The youtube streams all have this so they are clearly rebroadcasting the ESPN app albeit in something lower than 4k.

I have had the ESPN Unlimited subscription for a couple of weeks and honestly haven't noticed what happens during breaks. I don't know if it's 4k or what that even is.

If the same time is going to pass between game action I don't see what the difference is whether it's filled by commercials or talking heads or the ESPN logo. I can always mute anything annoying.

Just wondering about picking that up along with paramount(cbs)and peacock(nbc)and trying to piece it together. Wife won't do without nbc.

Might be easier to get the Hulu bundle or fubu.

All sports that are on ABC are part of the Disney/ESPN/ABC/Hulu package.  They're in the ESPN app and also accessible through the Disney+ app.

Unless I'm missing something, fubo pro has all the 4 major networks with local affiliates and espn unlimited for 55 a month. I'm inclined to sign up for this.

Edit. I guess that's the trial price. 30 off. So 85 a month. Basically about the same as YTTV

The damn email YTTV put out pretty much encourages the subscriber to go ahead and get that new ESPN package direct from them. In other words this may get lengthy. My guess is ESPN will figure out if people really value their content or will people simply just not watch sports or bootleg it.

A couple things will happen around my hood. If my bill doesn't drop significantly I'll drop YTTV. If I drop YTTV I won't be subscribing to ESPN's new app because fuck them. I pay for Hulu/Disney so any package that includes a suite of ESPN is gonna need to be worth my while.
